Terms of Sale
The agreement between you and AIIVANTA when you buy something on this site.
Questions about anything on this page:
support@aiivanta.shop
These terms apply to every order placed on aiivanta.shop. Please read them before you buy; by placing an order you accept them.
Who you are buying from
This site is operated as AIIVANTA and trades only at aiivanta.shop. The one address for all correspondence, including legal notices, orders, complaints and cancellations, is support@aiivanta.shop, answered within one working day, Monday to Friday.
Products and descriptions
We describe every piece as accurately as we can: the fibres it is made from, its measurements, its colour, and for tulle skirts how many layers of net it has and how it is lined.
Product images show the style, cut and colour as closely as we can represent them. Screens render colour differently and a blush on one monitor is not a blush on another, so slight variation between the image and the piece that arrives is normal and is not a fault. If what arrives is materially different from what was described, that is a fault and is covered under Returns and Refunds.
Where we describe metal fittings as gold-tone, that describes the finish. We make no claim about the metal beneath it, and we make no claim about how any material behaves against skin.
Prices and currency
- All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are the total payable for the goods.
- Delivery is charged separately and is shown at checkout before you pay.
- Import duty, import VAT and customs handling fees charged by the destination country are not included and are payable by you. See Delivery.
- We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
- If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error, we will contact you before processing the order and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
Reduced prices and promotions
Where an item shows a reduced price, the price struck through is the price that item was most recently offered at on this site. Reductions run until we say otherwise and can be withdrawn at any time, but a price is always honoured for an order already placed. We do not run countdown timers, we do not manufacture scarcity, and we do not attach conditions to a reduction that are not stated on the page showing it. Reduced items carry exactly the same return rights as full-price ones.
How a contract is formed
- You place an order. That is an offer to buy, not yet a contract.
- We send an order acknowledgement by email. This confirms we have your order; it is not yet an acceptance.
- A contract exists when we send the dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil the order we will tell you and refund you in full.
We may decline an order where an item is out of stock, where a price was clearly wrong, where we cannot ship to the destination, or where we suspect fraudulent use of a payment method.
Payment and security
- Payment is taken when you place the order.
- Card details are entered on the payment provider’s own secure form. They are transmitted directly to that provider and are never stored on this website. We never see your full card number.
- This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
- Our payment processing is handled by a PCI-DSS compliant provider. Card data is handled entirely within that provider’s environment.
- If a payment is declined the order does not proceed. We cannot tell you why a bank declined a card — only your bank can.
Delivery
Delivery terms, charges, estimates and what happens at customs are set out in full on the Delivery page, which forms part of these terms. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your statutory right to cancel within 14 days, the 28-day window we add on top of it, and the refund process are set out in full on the Returns and Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
Your legal rights as a consumer
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods we supply must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights, or any other right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Restrictions on where we can sell
We do not ship to territories subject to UK export sanctions. Some countries restrict the import of certain goods; where that applies to your destination it is your responsibility to check before ordering. You must be at least 18 years old, or old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, to place an order.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs inspections and carrier failures. We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Using this website
The text, images, layout and code on this site belong to AIIVANTA and may not be copied or reused commercially without permission. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, interfere with it, or use automated systems to place orders or scrape content.
Your personal information
How we collect, use and store your data is set out in our Privacy Policy, and the cookies this site sets are listed on the Cookies page.
Complaints
Email support@aiivanta.shop with “complaint” in the subject line. We acknowledge within one working day and give a substantive reply within five. If we cannot resolve it between us you keep every legal route open to you, including the courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version published when you placed it. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection in your own country and may bring proceedings there.
