Every garment on this site is adult sizing. We do not make or sell childrenswear. If you are between two sizes, email the measurement you are working to and we will tell you which one to take.

Skirt length is given on each listing at size S, measured from the waistband to the longest point of the net. Length grades by roughly 1.5cm per size.

How many layers, and whether it is lined

Every tulle skirt listing states two things before you buy: how many layers of net it has, and how the lining is cut. A lining that stops short of the net hem gives a sheer border; a lining cut to the same length as the shortest layer does not. Neither is better — they look different, and the listing tells you which one you are looking at.

Bags, chokers and leg warmers

These are one size. Rather than a chart, each listing carries its own measurements:

  • Bags — outside dimensions in centimetres as width × height × depth, plus the strap or handle drop.
  • Ribbon chokers and bow necklaces — ribbon width, and the range the piece adjusts through. Everything in this category adjusts somewhere between 30cm and 40cm; one style has no clasp at all and ties to whatever length you want.
  • Leg warmers — flat length and unstretched cuff width. They are knitted and stretch considerably past the figure shown.

How to measure yourself

  • Bust — around the fullest part, tape level and not pulled tight.
  • Waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
  • Hip — around the fullest part, roughly 20cm below the waist.

Measure over underwear rather than over clothes, and keep the tape horizontal all the way round.

Still not sure

Email support@aiivanta.shop with your measurements and the piece you are looking at. We answer within one working day and we would much rather do that than process a return.
